The successor of WCG, World Cyber Arena, will once again take place in Yinchuan, China. Due to an enourmous qualifying procedure, the Grand Finals will be played two months later compared to 2014, beginning on December 11th and ending on December 14th, where the best players in the world will compete for $160.000. While it's still unknown, how many players will be able to attend, WCA states that there will be several different opportunities to qualify. This improves last years system, where most of the players where invited directly. The remaining $55.000 are dedicated to those qualifiers, which will be held in China, Korea and Europe.
We heard, that Warcraft 3 legend Sky will be involved in some way at this year's WCA. He mentioned in an interview in 2014, that he'd love the play the tournament as long as there's enough time to prepare, but it'll most likely result in a showmatch against another hero of the past.

There will be three chances to qualify for an overall of six slots for European players: Invites, qualifiers and wildcard tournaments. The winners will share $10.800 and get the chance to compete with Warcraft's elite in Yinchuan.
